Dr. Denise L. Leong-Yokota

Dr. Denise Leong-Yokota, DMD, joined West Newton Dental Associates in January 2007. She is a board-eligible prosthodontist and specializes in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth, with an expertise in restoring the optimum appearance and function of her patients' smiles. Dr. Leong-Yokota has advanced training in treatment planning, esthetic procedures, dental implants, TMD problems, traumatic injuries to the mouth, congenital anomalies and oral cancer reconstruction. She is considered a master of complete oral rehabilitation.

Dr. Leong-Yokota serves as a clinical instructor for the Postdoctoral Prosthodontic Program at Tufts School of Dental Medicine.  Her investigations into numerous clinical issues such as Temporomadibular Disorders have aided in the treatment of her patients.

Dr. Leong-Yokota graduated Cum Laude from Hartwick College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.  She was awarded The Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Merit Scholarship, inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003 with her DMD. While at Tufts Dental School, Dr. Leong Yokota received the High Clinical Achievement Award (2003) and was on the Dean’s List for High Performance.  Dr. Leong-Yokota received the Lloyd L. Miller Scholarship during her advanced education in Prosthodontics at Tufts University.  Additionally, she was awarded the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) Education Foundation Scholarship (2003-2004), and continues to advance her education and develop her clinical expertise at the ACP, as well as the New York Academy of Prosthodontics annual scientific sessions.
